About Us

The Beavercreek City School District is a publicly funded Ohio entity that spans 47 square miles across Greene County and neighboring Montgomery County. The district services over 7,500 students who reside in the City and Township of Beavercreek, Alpha, portions of Fairborn, Kettering, Riverside, Sugarcreek Township, and Xenia.

Meet Lori Greenspan, the BHS Kitchen Manager, and proud BHS Class of 1988 alum! What started as a part-time job while her kids were in school turned into a career she loves, thanks to the energy of the School Nutrition Department and the amazing people in the district.

For the past five years, Marissa Wheeland has been making a difference as a 1st-grade teacher at Shaw Elementary! Inspired by her parents—both educators—Mrs. Wheeland developed a passion for teaching at an early age.
